The Village of Okawville operates under a Village President and Board of Trustees form of government. Village Board meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the last Monday of each month in the Conference room at the back of Village Hall, 304 N Front St, Okawville IL 62271. There are approximately seven (7) full-time and twenty (20) part-time employees, including members of the Village Board of Trustees and Zoning Board of Appeals. The annual budget is approximately $4,000,000.

To request public information, please submit a written request stating the records/information you are seeking to the Village of Okawville, PO Box 483, Okawville IL 62271 or via e-mail at villageofokawville@gmail.com. There is no charge for copying less than 50 pages of documents, in either letter or legal paper size.  Copying charges are 15 cents per page thereafter.  Additional charges may be imposed for large format or certain electronic media copies, or color copies, if available.
