American Legion
Meets third Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Legion. Owns and maintains Legion, has weekly Queen of Hearts Drawing Mondays at 7:30 p.m. and fish fry Fridays 5-8 p.m. Promotes veterans affairs. Commander, Greg Kinney

Legion Auxiliary
Meets second Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Legion. Supports the American Legion and Veteran’s affairs. President, Bobbi Jo Christ

Community Bible Study
Meets weekly Wednesdays September through May, 10-11 a.m. at the Original Springs Hotel in Lions Room.
Discussions led by pastors in the area.

Book Club
Meets first Monday at 7 p.m. (usually) at the Original Springs Hotel to discuss and rate book chosen for the month. Members pick a wide genre of books.

Chamber of Commerce
Promotes business and civic development. Sponsors Christmas Stroll, Festival of Trees, Breakfast with Santa, Easter Bunny Lunch, and Chili Cook-Off. Owning a business is not a requirement for membership. President, Alex Eade.

Community Club
Meets second Monday at its building on S. Hanover St. Owns and maintains the Community Club Park and co-sponsors the Wheat Festival. Volunteers are needed to help at concession stand at auctions and Wheat Festival.

Heritage House Museum Association
Meets first Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Legion. Owns and maintains three museum properties. Promotes preserving local heritage. Sponsores Heritage Days and the Christmas House Tour.

Lions Club
Meets first and third Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the Original Springs Hotel. Locally, the club sponsors the children’s Easter Egg Hunt, children’s Halloween party, co-sponsors the Wheat Festival, and supports numerous events. Globally, its service areas are vision, hunger, the environment, childhood cancer, and diabetes.
